Re: Auction E60 525i - condition 8/10 - how much?

Just wondering how you guys know if he car if accident-free? It is going to be a big risk to bid car from there?

Re: Auction E60 525i - condition 8/10 - how much?

does anyone know how this works ?

do they should out the latest price to all the dalers gathered around before the bidding closes ? If that is the case, maybe icoupe should go down there an hang around for the 'final' auction...... cos a fax bit not likely to win in that case ?

just see how la.... the OMV at $59K quite ok... if drive all the way shld be good depreciation cos take back $32K excluding body....
sell the ///M rims then sell the Rotora BBK get back money too kekeke...

But the less than a yr, Mar'08 Honda Stream at $38K OMV $17K lagi best hahahaha... got DVD player ...

Yo iscoupe,
Even if you bid at $95k, the straighline depreciation is $8.3k per year. Still very good, cause standard depreciation for this car (if sold by dealer or direct owner) is around $10.5-$11k.

But you have to take note of the problems Bro sugi mentioned. It's under warranty, so I don't know how much is the damage, i.e. those you have to pay yourself. Can be a bomb. But you are right, selling off the mods can pay for the damage, if any.

Honda Stream so cheap? Wa lao, market really bad man.

Re: Auction E60 525i - condition 8/10 - how much?

highest bid now 88,388 already.

Tried bidding previously. If the set up is still the same. Cannot go there to bid because they will ask you to fax or email even if you are there. There is no representative from GE money at 1700 hrs closing time. No point hanging around there, just bid from the comfort of your office. Fax cannot go thru the last 15 mins of bidding. At least didn't go thru for me. Had to email quickly, but still not successful then.

A dealer at Turf City once told me that all bids "are usuless" as dealers ard will secure it finally.
But at current econ situation, i also heard many dealers now carry too many stock, n banks reduce credit line. So unless dealer front is sell car, and back do Toto or 4D prvt, otherwise, any bid submitted may get thru..
:woowooo:

Re: Auction E60 525i - condition 8/10 - how much?

Not to worry, you r completing with dealer not end-user, dealers got too many cars in hand liao unless is close to scrap price and end-user worry abt getting a loan... record show sucessful bid most of the time below indicative price. Just don't fax, email your bid. Anyway, u can also reject the offer if u sucessful in yr bid, just pay $500.

Re: Auction E60 525i - condition 8/10 - how much?

that is what i thot too but more than one of the people here seem keen to really bid and price now is already above indicative.

How do you think they get this indicative price ? if from dealer than does not make much sense to bid too much above that right ?

Just try, there's always the next round of bid... almost every two weeks. The last bid was this BMW 320 '07, indicative price at $86K, sucessful bid at $81/82K.

Re: Auction E60 525i - condition 8/10 - how much?

Re: Auction E60 525i - condition 8/10 - how much?

Wah lau, now is high laio... it's all iScoupe fault, got everyone interested.

Re: Auction E60 525i - condition 8/10 - how much?

its too expensive, overblown price. its silly to buy it anything above 90K. body value for 5 series dropped substantially, buyer will lose till become ah gua...

Re: Auction E60 525i - condition 8/10 - how much?

the bidding was closed.. What is the winning bid?

Re: Auction E60 525i - condition 8/10 - how much?

I thought with the mod throw in and high OMV of this car, couple with low mileage of 27K, I am not surprise at all to see the bidding at this range, not sure who other bros think otherwise.....
