Auto Start Stop Default

Re: Auto Start Stop Default

Can your friend's 3's backseats be folded down for more space or something like that ?

5ver is not like that .

It did not went under ... instead it took 30 percent of the total space volume .

You cannot put any Skiing equipments or Bamboo sticks through to the back sit area .:lol2:

Your rear seat - can the centre portion be folded down? If the whole row cannot, sometimes the centre portion can.

The battery is sitting behind the back row of seats .... no point folding down .:errrrrrr::yummie:

Damn!! 30% is a lot of lost space!! And yes, his seats can be folded down too.

Re: Auto Start Stop Default

Confirmed with PML. They can reset it to default as per last user's mode. Takes half a day .
Have made my apptm already.

Anyone here used the auto start stop function? Is it recommended to be used? My new f30 is coming in 1.5 weeks time and it will be my first time trying out this function. So if I press on the break to full, the engine will stop and when I release a bit, the engine will auto start? No lag or movement jerks when you release?

I left it on most of the time. When I release the brakes, engine fires up instantly and there is no lag or jerks.

What happens in a traffic jam? Start stop start stop start stop non-stop?

While the auto start stop work nicely on occasional stops, it's irritating during traffic jams. I almost always turn it off during jams.

Re: Auto Start Stop Default

Re: Auto Start Stop Default

OK, jokes aside, I asked my SE about the Auto Start Stop feature, for the new 316i - she said it's no longer a free re-coding option. Gotta pay. Dunno what the other bros' experience here is though... luboil has an appt with PML, are they willing to do it for you FOC?

They re-coded my F13 FOC back then when I raised a stink with them... that was a year back.

Re: Auto Start Stop Default

I think Auto Start Stop is a bit redundant, but Brake Energy Regeneration is good.
