Badly Chipped Paint on Bonnet

I'd like to know from spray painting experts out there is it ok to just spray the affected area or is a total respray of the bonnet needed for uniformity?

If you read the thread provided by rattyunicorn, it does answer your question. Here, I quote it for you again in this thread:

if there's a chip we can't just touch up, we have to respray, but we may not need to respray the whole bumper, it can be a partial respray.

but it is dependent on the current condition of your paintwork, we need to assess it physically in order to tell you if a partial respray can be done in order to blend the color nicely.

Sent in to to munich auto for respray paint work few moths back for front bumper and bonnet only ... Really can't tell the different even look closely ... But got to wait for their promotion else will really suck your pocket vy deeply ...
