Ok - this sounds like a common problem...

Just had a DVR installed today and had the same message after I left the car in park mode for about 5 hours. I have a poer saver installed that's suppose shut the DVR off if its draining too much power.

So is this the car's way of telling us that it is shutting down selected components as it was draining the battery???

Yes ...to work . I knew abt the irritation message & did not use power magic .

Use 2 of this T POWER for 2 BVs , super fast charge thru backseat aircon cigar inlet while driving .
Ignition off , F10 will continue to charge these little "batt"bies :)for 20 mins and autocut off , leaving them to power your BV overnight .
Sometimes MScarpark less activity , this baby goes estimated 8 - 12 pm second day .Otherwise , at least 10-14 plus hrs when fully charged .

If i drive everyday also no message.
it is when u didnt drive the car 1-2 days then the warning message will appear.

U can try not to drive over the weekend, check if ur car car show u the message?

Bro ... my batt source are not connected to my Idrive .
I will never get message even if i don't drive for 5 days .

As soon as the car ignition is off , anything charging to the ciggar inlet
will auto cut off in 20 mins . (Bimmer standard for my car)

After that my Batt powers the BV .Nothing to do with Car batt thereafter . It is an external batt source .

I did consider using this when I was going to do my car cam install but decided against it after reading about the dangers of using these batteries in high temperature environments. the internal temperature of the car can go up to 70 degrees celcius on a very hot day and seems to be the limit for lithium batteries which might leak and fail with the possibility of catching fire. since my car is not parked under shelter 24/7, i decided not to take the risk.

If you use my kind of installation , doesn't matter which models .... as it does not touch any of your internal wiring . Thus no worries . No happy unplug everything ... back to normal .

Ya ... Thats what the installer of ITB100 autoshop told me .
Haha ... BV autoshop installer have the opposite theory , saying why let ppl mess with ur wiring ... and irritate me everyday .

Using 2 BV and 2 T-Powers for 2 months since ... daily parking at outdoor carpark ... Hot hot .
But seldom turn on BV as my company carpark has cams already .
To be frank , under hot sun , I feel more for cams than batteries .

yes, why pay to let other people mess with your wiring. that's why I DIY my own 2 ITB100 installation. on a hot day, i can't even hold the SD card after removal from the car cam when swopping cards. had to let the SD card cool for a few minutes first before keeping it.
