just got back from a short trip.
SG - Malacca - Muar - Johor Premium Outlet - SG
the coilover works great.
stable on straight roads during and yet sticky to the ground when turning in a long bend.
currently using the settings of front 18 clicks and rear 15 clicks.
almost wanted to set to the softest settings but remember ur advice not to.
thanks and cheers~!

Im assurming tat total are 32clicks, center line will be at 16clicks.

You can up abit more if u wish to but do have a differences of 3 - 4 lower clicks for the rear. (Weights issue) :)

Happy motoring ~~~

BR version should be 30 clicks.
Cheers!

Actually alot of things are make in China ~~

Question is the R&D rather than the fabrication location.

Cheers ~~ :)

@ TS, do take note that BC cannot set to the softest as your ride will be very bumpy.

Absorber cannot work in time with the springs. (if you get what i mean)

So you are saying the spring rates are higher than what is to be expected ?

Aaron,
U finally sell your COLT VERSION R? change to BMW? Good choice....

Re: BC -BR coilovers - E90

I tried BC coilovers on my Euro R last time... It's really comfortable but it doesn't last long on track... Only the extremely top end BC coils come with external canisters and are limited to very limited models...

The dampers (without the ext canisters) go soft extremely easily after tracking... Give u 2 hot lap max at Sepang... Same can be said to API coilovers... My frens WRX and STi (at least 4 of them.. 3 on the Type RS, 1 on Type RA) also complained that the damper goes soft after a few laps... Please note that type RA comes with ext canister also...

So I'm not sure if all these taiwanese coils have cooling problem, or the grade of the oil used isn't that good...

Now talking about BMW

The strength of BMW's driveability and cornering performance doesn't come with stiffness... In fact, it is quite the opposite... The progressive body roll tells you how much more you can push the car into the corner.
I'm currently on M Sports Suspension, and the uniqueness of the BMW experience hasn't changed..

No doubt the lower the car, the better the cornering... But by changing to coils that are not specifically designed for BMW might adversely affect this feel...

Any bros here have any other opinion?? So far I've only driven my fren's 325 coupe also with M sports suspension, another 335 with H&R springs, and a tiong 320 on coils... The 320 felt really different...

Re: BC -BR coilovers - E90

On a different note, VTTR is really good... Totally value for money...

Other brands like Alcon, Brembo, M Perf brakes, etc are like 200% more expensive for just like 50% more performance.... Oh, and maybe more bling...

Compared to the other taiwanese brand, this one is one of the better ones
