The PRC auntie who help me with drying and vacuum is very friendly and hardworking...she even wipe the leather seats too...wanna tip but she claim that Boss says no tipping allow...strange huh...

Thats right, she was with a thin guy at the drying area yesterday. Tink their boss want to prevent any unwanted issue or double standard. Haha..they r promoting using card payment.

Have you tried it? Any random car wash there is waaaay better than the "good" ones you find here. Not to mention the dollar value.

I'm a little anal when it comes to paint work protection as I used to detail my cars (now lazier haha). A trick I use is to supply them my own soft microfiber drying towel to wipe the vehicle. This reduces unwanted marring due to heavily reused cloths that they use.

Been visiting our neighbours up north for washes and polishing/waxing for 5 years now whenever I'm free to pop in. :thumbup:

I washed my first car in JB a couple of times, but things may have changed since. IIRC they used brute force to wipe down - the cars will be squeaky clean but the paintjob will suffer over time.

After so many pages and lots of suggestions and advice, seems nobody wants to listen to the Sage's advice re car washers...

Best car wash is still your pair of hands.

ask anybody who is fussy with detailing and he/she will tell u all car washers will spoil ur paintwork

Best car wash is still using your own bare hands...use shower gel and shampoo collected from hotel around the world makes your car smell much better...never wash outside...just in front of my own car porch! (weekly routine)
