RF's depreciation till date, is always higher.

In Alaska, there's no Run Flats, hard to get Run Flats there.... this is their flat tire/tyre.

did you manage to change ur tyres? RFT? I am planning to change mine over the weekend? same scenario, Front ones are due for change but the rear ones are still okie?

Sorry for late reply. I've changed all 4 there's to non RFT ( Goodyear Efficientgrip ).
Car is much quieter now.

i AM THINKING of sticking with RFT, and now deciding between:

(1) Continental - ContiSportContact 5 Run Flat; Tyre Size: 225/45 R18 95Y
(2) Pirelli - Cinturato P7 Ecoimpact Run Flat; Tyre Size: 225/45 R18 91V

You went for a tyre in the category lower than the Max Performance group which is the Ultra High Performance group. From your choice, looks like you are more into Comfort instead of a good balance of Dry/Wet grip or better feedback from wheel or steering wheel.

I listed/posted below and as of today, remain unchanged. Here are the top 3 choices for RFT in Max Performace group.

2nd Choice = Bridgestone Potenza S001 RFT

Hi, just to share... my last 2 sets of RFT are from Leong Seng, both under SGD 400 per piece, size is 245/40R18 for E60. Current set is RE050A and previous was CSC3. Both similarly in grip but the BS is more pliant and quieter.

Was on non-RFT before (GY Asym 2), ride on RFT is less comfy but noise level depends on tyre models, e.g. the CSC3 SSR is noisier than the GY Asym 2 non-RFT, but the RE050A RFT is actually quiter than the GY Asym 2. Fuel consumption is not much different.

RFT saved me quite a few inconveniences (somehow punctures always on Sunday night) and for high speed driving on NSHW at night to and from KL, it is much safer if you have RFT in case of puncture.
