For safety, warranty and peace of mind, only go for the ORIGINAL!
Juzz For Cars & Juzz It Up are the 2 sole distributors here in Singapore.

Stamp out piracy! :)

Re: BEWARE: Fake Stoptech In Singapore Market!

hey dude

would it be possible to show pix of the real ones?

can then make comparison and tell straightaway whether real or fake.

many thanks.

If i am not mstaken, stoptech rotors come only slotted. They dont come in both slotted and cross drilled. Enlighten me if i am wrong.

Comes standard as slotted. Choice of cross-drilled.
Yes, you are right no such thing as drilled & slotted discs for Stotech - no blue hat too.

:)

I remember seeing the orginal stoptech rotors having a nice shiny rotor finishing. This one seems very matt and cheap. Machiam some really bad Taiwanese/Chinese knock off. Not even in the league of WP BBKs, which some of our bros are using which have proved to be very very good.

Re: BEWARE: Fake Stoptech In Singapore Market!

I m truly amazed of how dumb people are to make a fake brand for a product like this.
Do we trust our lives in good brands of BBKs or we don't?
At least I'd expect a better acceptance of not so famous brands than a real faker...

Re: BEWARE: Fake Stoptech In Singapore Market!

Real ST calipers have flat caliper on the upper side, not like those 4 little horns above

Re: BEWARE: Fake Stoptech In Singapore Market!

Ok easy liao. Original Stoptech BBK do not have the 2 big rivets unlike the original one which is quite small. The securing by bolts on the caliper itself is inherently different looking at both. So i guess looking at the screws and bolts, you can more or less tell if its fake.

Re: BEWARE: Fake Stoptech In Singapore Market!

Very good Omar, plus one is red the other yellow, so easy to spot LMAO

No need to PM lah, let u know price in the open. A typical fake 4 pot BBK is $2000 but need to drilled the hat for your car's PCD and the bracket will be "Measure-to-make". Brakelines of coz will be customised. :lol2:

Re: BEWARE: Fake Stoptech In Singapore Market!

2k? fark that.

hmmm, maybe i should go into the fake market, could sell for half that easily!!

Re: BEWARE: Fake Stoptech In Singapore Market!

The fake ones use "butterfly" clips on the other side of the caliper bolts to "secure" the bolts. Fugging the same ones I used on my RC car to secure the top RC car plastic shell.

Re: BEWARE: Fake Stoptech In Singapore Market!

can state the workshop who is selling the fakes?

Re: BEWARE: Fake Stoptech In Singapore Market!

wow, there seems to be a marked difference between the real and the fake.

and the cost difference doesn't seem to be worth it - it's our own lives at stake. not sure whether they'd work when it comes to the crunch. and when we find out it doesn't, it's already too late.

thanks for the heads-up!

does the manufacturer know that their products have imitations in the market?

Re: BEWARE: Fake Stoptech In Singapore Market!

wonder how many people actually have them on their cars, i bet a few already.

cheap cheap, sure will buy
