Traffic lights, it has to be red light cams. No biz if they installed speed cams.

On the other hand, long stretch of inviting roads, installing red light cams make no sense.

Hence the "powerful" combo of this - you dare not even beat amber if you are already at 60 km/h.

If you are already way above 60 km/h, you risk both offences.

On a related note, is it an offence if you go from 0 to 60 in a big hurry (say sub-3 seconds) when the light goes green?

I recall when studying in the US there is a regulation...display of speed. Dont know if it applies here in Spore...

Who knows, can they cite you for not (being seen to be) exercising due care? I've been given dirty looks by mata for accelerating quickly out of traffic although obviously I kept within the speed limit.

Just because they didn't doesn't necessarily mean they won't or can't if you try a second time.

When they do, ask them to cite Statute Name, Chapter number, Section number and also the ingredients for making out a charge against you.
