In any case if you are serious .

What are several kinds of MTB, hardtails , full suspension ... Where would you be riding them? Leisure riding at the park? Or mandai - the hardcore type ...

Foldable is in as its easy to keep and bring around , but I think that's mainly leisure riding ...

Look carefully at the blue bike. Serious post, don't be distracted by airbags... ROCKSHOX sus.

Cannondale not bad but why hooligan range? The rims so small... anyway you can also try Trek and Gary fisher if you decide on full MTB. Check out Treknology Bikes they have good offers from time to time.

I also have KLEIN and Specialized full sus but those are more for trail/downhill.

Consider titanium bikes my friend. Cyclo cross would work for you. Can be as cheap as 3k to 10+k

If you want to ride for leisure , suggest you go for the hybrid type. Light and easy to ride.

At least handle is like MTB , unlike tri or racer, you require to bend yr upper body lower.

The gear ratio is like a racer which is bigger comparing with MTB.

Racer frame and rigid fork which is light.

This is not for off-road cycling ya.

If your kid is before 3 yrs old , you can fit a baby seat behind and lompang him.
