Hi bro, i was also reading up on a thread of the same topic at mycarforum. Seems that the overheating issue is quite bad. there is another model mentioned in the mycarforum thread which has better review. you may want to check it out.

Met a 535 Bro last Sunday and he has replaced both his front and back Blackvue due to overheating, not sure if Finevu has the same problem. Hope MW can share some light on his Finevu.

I have heard that Blackvue overheats. Not one that I will go for.

I hve a Roadhawk since 2005, previously in my E46, then transferred to my E60.

Last I reviewed the recording was only abt a month ago. Pic still ok.

Build in GPS tracking.. The video recording also records your location via Google map.

i using DVX for like a year so far no problem.
but again now i thought changing to Itronics.. same dealer.. dunno worth it a not.

I am using itb-100hd, it has higher operating temp, around 70 degree, for SG climate.
Night recording is one of the better ones that i have seen and come with buid in gps.

The question should be, if u leave the camcorder on for a few days and never start your car, what will happen?

Battery will die or power cut off by the Power Magic device?

i USE bLACK VUE, with power magic. Everyday error appear, Extensive Use of Battery . Black vue feels hot . until me at night unplug the cable . Scare car cannot start. Only driving than plug in.

Using Blackvue, no issues. I love how you can zoom in when viewing the recorded video. That was the main selling point for me.
