Bluetooth contacts sync with Android phone

Hey guys,

I recently switched over form the iphone to the HTC One Android phone and I'm experiencing some issues with getting the bluetooth to work properly with the car's BT.

Everything is fine except where it comes to contact sync. For some reason, all the accounts on my phone including my contacts, facebook, twitter, LinkedIn accounts have all their phone numbers, emails address all download.

On the "People" part of the phone, I had only enabled "Google", the other accounts are all not selected but yet everything is download.

Any Android experts out there who can help?

By the way, I had already downloaded and installed the latest Bluetooth software update available for my car.

Check your phone settings in all the various apps. There are options for you to choose.

Hi, can to you help me point out which settings I need to look out for? I've searched all over the phone and couldn't find any. Really appreciate the help.

Go settings
Accounts and sycn
Tab on the respective accounts
In there there are options, check or uncheck

Thanks for the tip. However I tried that and turned off sync for everything except Google. Still doesn't work. Everything still gets synced in.
