In first half 2009, 335i after discount was close to 190k for 2008 production car. OMV was 64k.
Price aside, the new car has a lot of new toys such as variable sports steering, adaptive M suspension, comfort access, reverse camera and 8 speed gearbox. It is also faster and maybe handles better.

price aside, new features new technology does not necessary must be more expensive
if bmw did not improve, they will lose the market
just like phone/tablet technology and hardware performance increase but price remain same and most cases cheaper.
my price for a 42" LCD TV in 2009 cost 1/3 in 2012 and going obsolete. ok, some may argue these are FMCG but the same logic applies.

won't happen at lelong price even there is another financial crisis ... even greece collopse (actually already 99% collapse, default twice liao)
