BMW 335 or 630 ?? The Age Old Question...

I know the answer i'm going to get is... it depends what you want? To make an impact... or just pure pleasure in driving a modest looking but mean machine?

Both cars tug my heartstrings... its like having to choose between Megan Fox and... Megan Fox! Damn!

I plan to get a used car less than 3 years old... so actually there aint that many choices in the market right now... next question is shall i risk buying an imported used? afterall it is used. If i buy from the more reputable used car companies maybe they have some pressure to keep their reputation and will not sell me a lemon? or am i just naive?

And if i'm considering 630, why not 645? The selling price is almost the same and you get a V8. Is there any downside on owning the 645 other than the hefty roadtax?

Oh i'm so lost... overwhelmed with bimmotions... boomz !!!

haha, if you track back sometime middle this year, i posted the exact same question and answer it just as quickly.

My answer was the 630i, it's more regal looking and less common.
Park in most carparks and you'll likely be the only one.
plus you cant mistake a 6er for anything else.
but bear in mind it is more ah pek.

if you are a more yuppy kind of guy, the 335i is the quintessential choice.

Compared to 645i, 630i drinks less and feels nimbler for city driving.
645i probably better on the long haul. 630i also cheaper on road tax.
So if you are a city driver, the choice is obvious. unless the 635d

ok i guess 630 is the obvious choice compared to 645... i was almost buying into your argument on 6-series until you said "6er is more ah pek" haha...

It looks like all logic points to 335 but the "passion" factor points to 6er

next time take a look at 6er drivers. mostly in their 40s upwards.
only a handful of young ones in their 30s and bobbytay who is , if i recall correctly not 30 yet?

so confirm 6er is more for mature audiences....

the driving feel of the 630 and 335 also very different.
the 6er really gives you a "big car" feel
the 335 is raring to go and feels ready to sprint.

Driving experience wise, thought the 335 will be be more nimble...

But for wow-factor, i thought 630 will turn more heads..
