N54 Bi-Turbo engine with HPI direct injection.
306HP, 400Nm available in range 1500 to 5800rpm. Max 7000 rpm.
With full alluminium crankshaft casing, Bi-VANOS, electric water pump.
70kg less weight than 4.0L V8 NA engine. No turbo lag


Tested in E90. ONLY E90/E92 Annouced so far
80-120kmh in 6.3s (eg. 330i in 8.2s)
0-100kmh in 5.7s (eg. 330i in 6.3s)

With 330i going for $200,000 thereabouts, I expect this stormer to go for at least $220,000??? Perhaps $240,000???

Definitely more than $240k. With the new M3 going for 4.2litres and pricing more than $350k, the 335i is supposed to bridge the gap btw the M3 and 330i. So I expect it to be around $260k+ at least.

someone posted over at e60.net that there might also be a 335si, which will have a twin clutch ZSG geabox and 330bhp, same engine but I guess either with bigger turbos or more boost!

Woah, with that, who needs an E90 M3....let's hope it's true!

You are right Bro Rastaman, MotorTrend mag heard that M3 will have 4.4ltr V-8 derived from the 5.0ltr V-10 in the M5 that'll punch out about 425 horses and will initially with six-speed manual and subseq an SMG sequential shift transmission. A DSG-style twin-clutch box is under development.
