Contemplating starting a "damn suay" thread but decided to hijack jdm's thread.
Was driving last nite and dunno drove over what, probably some kind of metal object on the road. Heard a loud sound like the object ricocheting off the ground followed by a soft thud so not expecting anything serious.
Upon inspection when I got home, found the paint and part of the side skirt being sheared off. Surprised the damage is quite smooth unlike the jaggered edge if u scrap it. I guess it's the material of the skirt that absorbed the impact. Had a similar experience before on an earlier ride where I get a cracked side skirt instead.
Glad I just need a spray job instead of replacing the skirt. Now I know why it pays to have a kit of a better material.
