BMW 520D .. need advice

Greetings to all bros and siss here ,

I am looking to getting a 3 year old used BMW 520d (F10), hope bros who also own this drive can help to clear some of my queries.

1. As this is a PI model , can help to recommend a reliable workshop which specialised in this model for servicing ?
(sorry for this noob question, not sure if all workshop also can do diesel models)

2. I travelled quite often to Malaysia , is it ok to top up Diesel from there ??

3. anything else in particular I should look out for in this diesel model ??

2. IIRC - the diesel in MY is typically euro 2 . Bhp, Petron and shell introduced euro 5 compliant diesel recently. Euro 5 is what your f10 is looking for.

If you pump diesel in Boleh land for your F10, be prepare for engine clogging (diesel particulate filter being clogged) and misfiring issues due to the super high sulphur content. Here in SG Euro 5 spec, only 50 ppm (parts per million) of Sulphur, Boleh land Euro 2 standard is 500 ppm ..... you do the math ...
By then any workshop here also can do your car because you won't be servicing your car but overhaul engine ....

thank bros .. think will not pump in boleh land .. a full tank should be good to KL and back .. just wondering those who own a 520d in malaysia .. where they pump sia ?

Just saw a SHELL sign along Pasir Gudang highway that it is supplying EURO 5. Wonder is it common across all the SHELL pumps?
