I also heard that PML will no longer take order for 330..not sure if true..

Spoke to my SE, there are still about 4 or 5 units left of 330i sedans (didn't ask about coupes/cabs). And about 8 units (ex-stock) of 320i. After which, they will probably slow down/stop.

no free gift for test drive,

the cabs are the best priced cos the new E90s will not have cabs out so soon or at least until E90 sedan and E90 coupes are out... but thats me thinking out loud only...

Yo Winston,

From experience, tis does not seem to be the case; when the E46 sedans (318 n 328s) were launched in LH 1998, there were very few registrations of E36ers cabs registered beyond tis period although the 1st E46 cab appeared here somewhere in LH 2000. So when the cabrio buyers see the new E90 model, chances r, most will wait........

dat's y PML desparately tryin to sell their E46 cabrios now; seldom do they reduce price for cabs..... my 2 cents again.

n lucky I sold my cab liao......keke.

Cheers

Its almost like in 1997 when they were selling the E36 at an "attractive" $132k and the roads were full of new E36s suddenly and when the new E46 hit the roads about 6 - 7 months later, I believe many of the "new" E36 owners went to the beach to look far off contemplating on what have they done...

The neverending cycle of car upgrading.... :shoot:

BTW, I don't know if I heard wrong from a Japanese associate that cars in Japan have a maximum ownership lifespan of about 3-5 years max (e.g. 5 year COE). Can anyone briefly shed light on this matter?

for what i heard is that they hv tax for vehicle more then 3 yrs old then at 5 yrs old another tax so usually to avoid these tax these vehicle are exported.... but if they pay the tax they can still drive the vehicle.... but these are what i heard (from a vehicle dealer).... how accurate it is i'm not sure
