FWD less power lost thus have an edge...but hor... it's FWD so the balance is KuKu lor...
but again depends on individual driver's needs, could be good for some

No one doubt RWD has superior handling,
just that the stats for 0-100km/h are always on straight so
FWD will have an edge there.

I thought as the car accelerates, it's centre of gravity will shift to the rear providing RWD cars with more traction (thus better 0-100km/h performance)?

Yah, if I get to hit the speed limit on my way to work everyday, I will be damn happy. My average speed every morning is only 30km/h. On the other hand, with higher engine power, you will find more opportunities to overtake confidently.

That's why i switch Japanese lifestyle car and drive only at nite. Roofless ROCKS!!

This morning, car along Geylang Rd line up from Lavender traffic light to Kallang Bridge. I wave to every single car i overtake Priceless.
