BMW KEY (changing the battery)

Does anyone know how to change the battery for the bmw key? for the e90 mod.

Was told that the key slot actually charges the battery.No need to replace. Any lao jiao can verify?

Ya. Thanks for ur post. really appreciate it. Just verified w BMW. There is no battery in key.

However, now all my doors cannot be opened except the drivers door. Think its not the key anymore?
Becos i can use the key to wind down all windows but doors remain unlocked. Is it the fuse?

Can anyone please advice? HELP!

Bro, you need to re-configure the settings, read the instruction booklet or bring down to PML and get them to configure it

Actually there is a battery. Pull out the spare key then use your finger nail to pop off the cover. Once u take out the key u will see what I mean.

Got battery but not replaceable. Buy a new key lor....

Bro,

check your setting via OBC. E90 can set to open driver's door while the rest are locked and also all open at the same time.
