It is obvious that some of this info posted is already dated and erroneous.
2007 BMW 3 Series: Coupe and convertible join the 3 Series sedans. Bridging the performance gap between six-cylinder 3 Series models and the mighty V-8-powered M3 will be a turbocharged variant based on direct-injection gasoline engines.
2007 BMW 1 Series: Positioned between the Mini and the 3 Series, the 1 Series is expected to come to the U.S market years after its European launch. The lineup is expected to be a coupe and sedan, though a five-door is available should consumers be receptive. Engines will be I-4 and I-6, likely shared with the 3 Series.
2007 BMW 7 Series: Redesign.
2008 BMW M3: The M3 coupe will feature a 4.0-liter/400-horsepower V-8 engine derived from the M5's mighty V-10.
2008 BMW V5: A new crossover vehicle that will share its AWD platform with the next-generation X5, the V5 merges sedan luxury with all-weather performance and sport-coupe dynamics. Engines will be next-gen I-6s and V-8s, the latter with second-gen direct-injection systems.
2008 BMW X3: Freshening.
2008 BMW Z4: M edition brings a 3.2L/343-hp engine, firmer suspension, dramatic body work, and better dressed interior.
