BMW N20 vs Audi EA888

Bros, I believe some of you are already driving the new N20 2.0 litre turbo engine in the 520i or 528i. What are your thoughts of this new engine by BMW compared to Audi's EA888 which is actually its second generation of turbo direct-injected engine.

Surprisingly the EA888 with cast iron crankcase is still lighter than the all aluminum N20. Wonder what BMW put into the engine. I have a feeling its that whole VANOS/Valvetronic mechanism.

I just took a test drive in a 1.2l turbo VW Polo and shit, I am already damn impressed by what that 1.2 litres can do!

This EA888 engine was also used in the latest Golf GTI E35 version. Power was tuned to 235hp.

What is the power to weight ratio ? I believe this makes a lot of different in the overall driving feel

N20 can now be tuned to 294 hp & 310 ft/lb torque with the Kelleners Power Module. N20 FTW!
