BMW "Turbo Hose Seepage" issue

Good morning All
I am considering a used BMW 4series that seems to have a "Turbo Hose Seepage" issue

Not familiar with cars so have a few noob questions
1. What is Turbo Hose seepage? is it gas leak or oil leak if not what is it?
2. Any idea the cost to fix?
3. Is this issue common?
3. During regular Performance servicing, is it a hard issue to detect and troubleshoot? Will Performance fix it?

Any advise will be most appreciated

My advise to you is bring the car for Pre Purchase Inspection, any site sponsor here can do a good job. You can't be sure that is the only problem.

Hi if the dealer won't fix the problem then walk away from the car. No shortage of 4 series or better cars in the market

Its such a general terms. Hose seepage can mean either Air or Oil leak from the hose, depending on where is the leak. No point guessing here.

You probably mean the Oil Feed line that feeds oil into the turbo unit. Does the car have the cold start smoke issue? Mine is having that currently and I am looking at possibly changing the oil line which was updated by BMW with a check valve or fit both the updated oil line and an upgraded oem turbocharger.
