TBH, as a f10 owner, I feel that the steering feels a little awkward and the suspension/undercarriage/rft combination is quite like new tomyam car in refinement...But the interior of the w212 is really no fight when compared to f10, at least from driver's perspective...I hate the w212 interior so much that I didn't even bother to test drive it, even though the w212 was a better deal. Same selling price but much higher immediate coe with higher omv.

The f10 driver seat is a really nice place to be in when waiting for the traffic light or stuck in a PIE 20km/hr jam on rainy weekday morning. On the other hand, the rear passenger seats are the extreme opposite, hard stiff uncomfortable back rest with weak air con...but since I am forever alone in the car, it probably doesn't matter...

sheer driving pleasure rocks above everything
i dun care the door and dashboard rattles like siao, road & wind noise like pick-up, headlight vapour, aircon blow hot air as long as silky strawberry engine

I just sat in a W211 Merc Taxi and I must say the ride is very comfortable. Goes through pot holes and humps so smoothly that put my F10 to shame..
Also the insulation is pretty decent for a battered up CDI cab...
I think as a passenger, Merc should be much more comfortable than BMW.

No leh bro, I owned a 2 yr old W211 and when I test drove the F10, I fell in love with everything about it. The quietness and strawberry of i6L, the insulation of cabin and the build quality overall much better. W212 cabin has improved but still ah pek image... cannot shake off.

I know what you mean
when I drive alone, I'm perfectly fine
when I have passengers,I get very conscious cos it suddenly feels bumpy
Am on 20"

try fix 17" horfun
its the cheapest and quickest to appease her

if F10 comes with RFT...read run flat tires / tyres... pls change to regular tires / tyres.... (depends which engrand you read... UK vs USA)

it's obvious .. the lower the profile the harder the ride
the tyre is so thin ... it's almost like riding on steel wheel

this is bmw standard 225/45/17 setup ... look at the sibei thick tyre
merc even run profile 50 !

Big rim with low profile tyre too cause the bummpy car ?

This stock rim design is nicer 1000x than jonleeck's ugly 17" stock F10 rims which he is trying to con people to buy from him.

My wife did mention that the BMW is not a comfy ride as Merc.

W212 will be a better ride if you prefer comfy.
F10 will be a better ride if you prefer a more sporty design and feel.

But I choose W212.
