i wondering why i call and ask from people, it's always different price...
example an air filter, i ask from one brother, he told me this workshop do $120 with installation, and good workmanship.
then i call before going to that workshop, they told me $140, then i told myself, maybe this brother everything get from that workshop, become VIP liao, i first timer, so got it more expensive....nevermind.
then i want to fix the air filter, another installation charge, $20, so total is $160.
I was stunned for so long till i never change my air filter till today.
Maybe some might say $40 not alot, but $40 is 1/3 of a 3's full tank.
Why like tat har....

yes, cheap doesn't means good and good doesn't means cheap.
but now thing i pointing out is that, why same workshop, 2 different person, 2 different price and one is including installation, cheaper and another is without installation and more expensive.
is it because you are green and easy to get carrot ?

you know, if you dont mind going to other small workshop which no popular among BMW owners, then you might find out that they offer same or even exceed quality than some major, popular workshops does.
Below is one of my regular workshop that I found they offer excellent service, quality of job done. Most important thing is, they offer honest opinion, they not trying to make money from you by telling you change this part, change that part, also..price they quoted for items & labour fees are 100% happy. (ofcoz still can bargain a bit lower haha)

I did all my previous car at Defu Lane Tan Lim motor, recently changed my airfilter plus labour for e46 40bucks.
you can contact ah huat at 91866909
his workmanship is good and very responsible plus reasonable charges too.
