Boxster S or Cayman S

Need some advice on which one to get. Would appreciate it if you could list the Pros and Cons for each.

Thanks Bro but advised by someone that I would regret owning a cabriolet in Singapore as I would be getting all the exhaust fumes from the buses etc. Will also face rattling from roof etc.

Hence am a little confused. I would also appreciate advise from bros who have experience with cabriolets regarding the top down driving experience.

True advise..95% of the time your top will be up and all the fume from other vehicles but when the wheather is fine esp early morning cool air the experience is fantastic....To be frank very liitle opportunity to use in in our climate and traffic condition

what about hard top ?
90% up, 10% down occasionally when the timing is right (early morning, dawn, night) and weather is good

this is only time you would probably get a drop top car for less money than the hard top.. but the boxster a bit hairdresser image leh..

Hey Bro i wouldn't mind hard top but the boxster S doesn't come with the hard top.

Haha yup. Heard about that too. But then again that is the only Porsche cabriolet within my budget. Plus the 5 yrs warranty and free maintenance is attractive too.

I am into my second cabrio. Once u own one, u wldnt one to be without one. I go topless every evening after work. The route I take dun take me beside buses often, so I dun give a hoot with a bit of fume. Those who cant take a bit of heat and want cool comfort all the time will not find a cabrio suitable. Between Bixster S and Cayman S, the engine is identical for non pdk version. Of the two, I will take Boxster S anytime. It looks damn good once u put in the TechArt kit. And mind u, the Boxster S has a better resale anytime.

You are thinking too much. Hop into both and Experience it. Then buy what you like better.

had same worries (bus fumes, heat, etc) before purchasing z4...no regret since after first experience of topless, nowadays taking every chance to drive with roof down...other than mid-day when it is sunny...

GO FOR IT!!!

Like Hitmee said: if you've not own a cabrio yet go for the Topless
Like T6 said: once you own one Topless ride you will wanna continue to enjoy Topless ride in the near future...........

Having said that, my E89 is my fourth Convertible, hehe (love it)
so go with your heart and just forget about those fumes or maybe even HAZE!!!..............
* go with the PDK version (no regret)

Why dun get a 1-2 yrs old Boxster and see if you like the top down feeling?

some truth about bus fumes etc...

but little your time top down might be, it is well worth it...

christmas lights down orchard road make for some great photo opportunities for your pax...avoid 6,7pm+ when the birds are chirping...put on a cap...

up down Sheares bridge...Sentosa going into Capella day or night...carpark further into Rasa Sentosa looking at progress of Reflections...Vivo...Labrador...

used to like going into Marina South/Pier top down...but with all the construction going on now avoid top down driving in...

only negative is i feel its a soft top...

This car is actually not only for me but for the whole family to share and enjoy. We had gone to check the S5 cab out however, the S5 cab is not using the S5 coupe's V8 engine which is something I was disappointed by.

The V8 's vroom vroom is shiok shiok....too bad the cab is only V6.
