allow me to say...SLRs r ugly.

And that's totally agreed. Hence the butchiness of the SLR makes it more suited in a race car suit rather than a pretty suit. This car looks good as a machete not a pearl handled revolver.

Agree with toto. The SLR is a monster masher but no oil painting. The basic proportions ain't right. The nose is too long, the cabin is too small, and the arse is too short. Give me an 18 year old (McLaren F1) any day.

That's a hot car, even in standard trim. Understand that it was sold out the day it was launched. Saw a black one in Dubai 3 months ago. In realtime, the curves of the car are accentuated. And the long nose takes on a very sleek and brute appearance. And the wing doors were uber cool and sexy. 2 of my buddies there with me agreed that the car was like a magnet....we just wanted to get in to drive it! Same car would cost upwards of S$1.2mil after taxes in sgp. Left hand drive tho...
