needs some modifications to fit. not plug n play afaik. not sure bout the costs

Hm....you do mean the E36 M brakes on the non-M E36 right? I think the M brakes with the M carriers do fit on the non-M spindles, at least they did when my mech test fitted. It's getting the right set of rotors tt's gonna be a bit of a challenge.

Not sure if all the above is correct, but tt's what I was told at the workshop, I chose to fore-go the M calipers for smth else, so not sure if it really works. But if you're interested I've got M calipers with carriers to let, spindles/kingpin not included.

Very simple answer

1. You need the M3 Kingpin/Knuckle to use M3 calipers

2. Swapping the non-M3 carriers onto the M3 calipers won't work

3. You can bolt-on the M3 calipers onto the non-M3 Kingpin, but you will need a custom rotor with a backspacing of about 1".. not worth it

4. With enough time and money, you can bolt on anything onto anything, but it becomes a ridiculous waste of money

5. To summarise.. refer to point #1 :D

Nic if you can get the calipers, its doable. Call me and i'll tell you. Or just visit Rodney, it can be done there.
