Brakes squeaking after changing brake pads

Hi,

I just changed my rear brakes pads on my F10 523 to EBC yellow 3 weeks back.

I have since been hearing a lot of squeaking noise (similar to those I heard when my old pads were due for replacing).

Spoke to one of the workshops and the guy explained that there's too much metal content in the EBCs and the squeaking is normal and will not go away. Wait until wear out then change to stock pads.

Anyone with experience with this? Any advice?

EBC yellow is for street race and track use. Designed to work at high temperatures. If the pads don't hit that temperature, it will squeak like mad. EBC green is more suitable for daily use.
