6 pot gives better modulation but having said that, since the ST-40 kit for the current M3 has been designed as a package, I'd therefore tend to think that it should work better that way as far as braking balance goes.
The best thing bout that ST-60 n 80 is that you can use back the current rotors..so just change the calipers with the necessary carriers etc...and of coz the brake pads are different oso.
