Bru 715 I love China deep deep, But now China dont loves me!!!!

I'm not against made in prc products, just that I'm concerned on the quality control etc etc and would like to hear some feedback from the forummers here. Anyway think I'll give the GTS a miss because spacers are required.
Thanks TripleM for the good advice!

After months of deliberation, I decided on 20" Breyton Race GTS (graphite) and have not regretted it since. Weightwise, having run on other 20" rims prior to this, it was lighter than I expected and I now do more zoom-zoom.
As this is an official Breyton product with QC tests, this is good enough for me. The last time I checked the various forums, I did not note any QC issues.
Ray's is the best (read cheapest) place in Singapore as I compared around all the rims shops I could find the last six months. I am aware Raymond managed to get the best price in Singapore as he placed a significant order for this particular model in various sizes and colours. Make sure you get the Breyton valve caps.
Consider 20" and here is my post with pics:

This is the only thing from PRC that I don't worry so much about QC etc etc!!!

If black, then maybe silver rims may be best. Check out other posts on spacers. You should be fine so long as you get them from reputable manufacturers (Eibach, H&R) and do not get them too large. Good luck in your decision.
was initially concerned about Breyton made-in-china but since no need spacer (i dun like) so decided to go for it - no regret since.Jiunn Siong;429974 said:715

Good price after trading in my stock 16".
Only regret is that left front rim kenna scratch coz stopped too near curb & the spokes are abit "protruding" for Race GTS.
Went back to Ray-S for touch-up - quick and good job! Looks good now.
I kenna 3 spokes & the edges on the left front.Jiunn Siong;430346 said:6888
How much to touch up (per rim) and which paint shop did it? Yew Lip?
Just in case I hit mine in the future!
Thot it was something black. But when grinding it revealed the base to be silver!Jiunn Siong;430419 said:That's gr8 service from Raymond. Your gashes mustn't have been too deep.
What's the colour of the actual rim material below? Didn't you need to get it painted? I ask this because I thought the gunmetal coloured rims were just painted on...I may be wrong...thanks.

So the black was probably the kerb.
Some small part difficult to grind so touch up with paint over - not obvious even on close look.
Am happy that it's looking good!
