Bring in own engine oil for servicing at PML

Hi,

I am a fan of Shell helix but BMW recommends castrol.

Can I bring in my own engine oil for servicing, will there be an extra service charge if i use my own engine oil? Thanks. New bird here.

Hi bros, just curious what type of engine oil do the majority here used or prefered? Heard so many versions of oil that is good for our bimmers. For those who stick to PML servicing using Castrol, care to share your feedback also. Thanks
