Buying 2nd hand exos transfer procedure??

Can someone advise what is the procedure? As I heard many version so want to confirm...

Some said after u install the exhaust from a workshop you need to get the agent/distubtor to re-cert the transfer which need to pay a fee.. Then go vicom to get a letter and the original owner need to sign before they will inspect the exhaust before approving.. Is this correct?

Can anyone advise on the fee involve for to get the exos install in another car?

I have done a few rounds and the procedures as follows:
1) Get the original cert from previous owner
2) Bring the cert and your log card details to the authorised distributor / agent for that brand of exhaust
3) The agent will do up a letter to request for transfer with your details / IC photocopy attached for a fee (probably around $50 - $100 range before GST)
4) Get your exhaust fitted up
5) Bring the transfer letter + cert to an inspection centre e.g. VICOM for pay for the inspection fee (try to make prior appointment so as not to waste time waiting)
6) The inspection centre will take pictures from below and then give you back the cert (with a chop with your name / IC no.) as new owner of the exhaust with an approval letter. You will receive a copy as well via mail from LTA.
7) Keep the cert / letter in your car in case of any TP / LTA stops you
8.) Enjoy the sound and shake your neighbours....
