Dude,

Buying a car, like any technology driven items (unlike mundane items such as kitchen knives), is like buyig a computer...... you can wait forever and still not get the best best best deal.....

If you need/want one, set a price and just get it.... The reduce the price and change the specs, then you are back at square one..... or if you want flow price and many of the options for free, then wait for the next 3 series.... so you see, no end one......

You will probably kick yourself later for paying such a 'high' price, but what you don't see is how much you are enjoying the car......

But, the decision is solely yours to make.....

Happy hunting.....

Well said! That's the spirit!

Re: Buying E90 320

Congrats Getalife, you will enjoy it! Did yours come wih the folding mirror thingy?

Anyone knows if it can be retrofitted to an exisiting E90?

Cheers,

Re: Buying E90 320

Hi Fooman,

Thanks

Nope, no folding mirrors for me but I saw one used one at Premium Used Cars with roller blinds, folding mirror, xenon, all factory fitted.

OMV for that car in May 2005 $47K.

They were asking for S$117K for tha car with a mileage of 17k.

Did not think it was worth it, so trapped with a newcar with ugly wheels..LOL

Getalife,

Tks for the info. Enjoy your ride, maybe the next thing on your list is to lose those wheels like most of us here did, hahahahaha, sorry ah don't mean to poison you, but somehow, 16 inchers too small lah!

Re: Buying E90 320

For me, its not so much a matter of how much faster the 325i goes in comparison to the 320i but more of the improvement in refinement and glorious noise that it makes! I was so upset that BMW choose to make the 320i a 4-cylinder. I think the E46 320i was a very good entry-level BMW with the proper 6 cylinders.

100% agree!! y must the e90 320i in 4 cylinders!??

Re: Buying E90 320

Driven e46 and e90 4 and 6 cylinder versions. Instead of e90 4 cylinder I would look for a used e46 6 pot. The refinement experience is considerably different.

Re: Buying E90 320

My Views

Yup me too driven the E46 6 potters too, more power with 2171 cc and 170+ hp

I will have to pay higher interest rates, transfer for used car and did not know history of car. Tested a few but condition were unsatisfactory, depreciation of the E46 320 almost the same.

Rd tax, COE and OMV also higher.

I am also guessing that PML marketing plan is using the e90 320 as entry level and then they can sell 323s and 325s.

Welcome to Singapore and the cost of living.....LOL

Good Luck in your search.

Re: Buying E90 320

Hi,

Its so far so good for me as i crusie more than I whack.

Financial commitments aside, ask yourself the following questions.

1. Need Power and love to speed - go for 323 or 325
2. Need a car for daily use 320 enough.
3. Taking passengers often - 323 325 (actually 320 good enuff)
4. fuel consupmtion - 320 I got 9.5 km/ltr
5. Cheaper cost of maitainence - 320
6. 320 sme look with 323/325
7. price difference

Finally, go for a test drive to compare.

Let me know if you need help.

320 price today is 131k...323/325 dunno.
