Just read an interview in latest Top Gear mag with the Ferrari head, Luca Montsomething. Anyway, he says the California will be priced more than the F430 Spider, since it's a 2+2, is more powerful and has a hard folding roof.
According to him, it's aimed at the new rich folks who want to own a Ferrari, but find current models not so easy to live with.
I think the California is aiming to take sales away from Bentley CGT, Porsche Turbo Cab, any upcoming Aston Martin V12 Roadster, perhaps even a Merc SL63 AMG.
It's probably gonna sell in the bucket loads, espcially in Asian countries like China and India. where there are lots of newly rich people
