Hmmmm....

Seems like i've got a recall letter for my Z4 in the mail today..
Something about replacing the faulty plug-in contact of the battery's positive terminal.

Anyone else got this letter?
Mine is a 2010 model, sDrive 23i..

Hahahaha!

They got say that vehicle may no longer function, power steering and electrical systems may be affected.

But they also said that it may take 4 hrs to replace the connector. When i imagine the said connector, i picture a simple contact point which prob takes 20 mins to remove the glove compartment, and another 10 mins to replace a new contact point...

Maybe they will replace sth else too.. That why it takes 4 hrs....

Hi Guys- im thinking of getting a 2nd hand z4 sdrive 23i. Trying to compare between a PI and Performance motor unit,

For a car after 3 years, ie. warranty over.. does it still really matter? PI car should definitely cost lesser, but I guess my question is do you guys see any problems with buying a PI car that is 4 years old? Anything I should bear in mind?

I am not sure if this is the standard equipment list, but I bought a PML car and these are what came with my 2010 Z4 sDrive 23i

- S677A Premium sound system aka "Top Hi-Fi"
- S387A Wind deflector
- S481A Sports seats
- S493A Storage compartment package
- S4UTA Load-through hatch with interior transport sack
- S534A Automatic air conditioning (dual zone)
- S644A Bluetooth phone
- S6FLA USB/audio interface

Some PI models may be missing these options.
