I saw a car with prefix 'SAA'... think it was on a black bmw E90. Did I see wrongly?? No, cos I went back to take a second look! Is there such number plate in Singapore??

Bingo!!! Its this car! My memory failing me or am I colour blind?? Its white not black. saw it a Bugis Junction basement carpark. Read the thread that it is registered in Sabah/Sarawak? How come got suffix? Is it cos it was imported over to drive in Singapore so must put a suffix?? Just like if we want to drive an old 'lao pok' car with the earliest 'S' series, need t register a suffix cos the original 'S' series no suffix. Hmm...... interesting

...boh la...Singapore Aero Space lah...they used that Prefix just for Aero Space (If I didnt remembered wrongly hor)..since fours yrs ago redi...
...mainly to ferry VIPS la.....big bosses lah....VVIPS ' VIPs lah..etc etc..
.All these years....Everytime it comes to Aero Space, traffic to and fro Changi Exhibiton areas....becomes really really horrendous...those working in and around that vicinty....esp those driving private cars...can be held up in jams for long long time...
...that caused problems to exhibitors as well and frustrations and thus...tons of complains...!
..Lots of Ctries sent their Ctries...equiptments..for display here too....
...Oso, most private companies' guests of SAA stayed in downtown...cos most rich...8)...
..we dun wan complains...we wan the exhibitors to keep coming backSG to display their items...aircrafts...goods...machine guns..etc etc la..hee
..thus...so the idea of SAA BMWs came abt to give these vehicles privileges to drive in and out of exibition areas...sort of....smoothly...
...if not wronged...thoses bimmers are sold off at a special price as well...after event....

Mystery solved. My Malaysian colleague told me it's a Sabah registered car. Heard quite alot spotted in JB too.

...hee...realli lah....now I knw Sabah registered car oso like tt.....Yeh...learned a new thing..8)
...but back in 2008 hor....i was helping out a frd's at her exhibition booths in Changi mah...so I was there to see all those BMWs Limousines lor....all start with a SAA....:chinese:
