Carbon Tax starts next year...for cars

Re: Carbon Tax starts next year...for cars

Actually alot of buyers will benefit.

For example the E250 Coupe using 1.8T engine only emit 135g/km CO2 so it will get a rebate of $10k from government instead of currently zero.

Going forward most cars will be into Turbo engine to reduce the carbon footprint minus Super cars so this is a good move for most motorists in Singapore.

now i get it ... carbon tax is a NEW WAY for tax revenues ...
soon there will be "run lion" tax for hitmee ....

their main problem is HDB SERS. because every yr they keep pushing up land value due to their economic growth, everytime they enbloc they have have 2 draw out of reserves, annual retained earnings also not enuff for SERS... or else y tap the reserves? they started it, lets see how the future ministars handle it.

some more HDB lends the most loans for the new HDBs, so they effectively have 2 keep prices up to keep positive equity in HDB prices.... so u know HDB prices cant fall beyond a certain pt or else HDB themselves will incur collateral loss on top building costs...
