Its only 300kg.... equivalent to 20 bags of 5kg.
Probably just a diplomatic gesture by our government to maintain good relations with our nippon neighbours.
I suspect the rice will be secretly disposed/destroyed by the authorities the moment it reaches our shores.... and will not have the chance to land in the supermarket/restaurant.
If u worried... just avoid short grain rice for the rest of the year.
