Changing of aftermarket light bulbs

I have changed many pairs of H7s myself, and it has never burn any plug or wires of sorts.

Unless you could find HB4/9006 for 5,000 K, that combination that you have proposed is my pick.

The outer cups are for low beam, and the inner for high beam.

Hi NickyPower,

Never had that problem with my E46 318iA, have changed my headlights a couple of times and never had burnt cables and plugs......check that you are using I think 55W ones. I know of some people who use the blue tinted ones that cast white lights which are kinda "dim" so what they do is use tinted bulbs of a higher wattage, that way, they get white lights of comparable LUX rating as the normal halogen ones which are yellowish in colour.

Marko-polo-Oh ya!! i think that's reason for the burn plug cos too high watt or some thing... so E46 using 55W?


Ken- thanks for the reply.. as i m still in brunei seem like there is alot of light bulb for sale n looks pretty cheap also... let me try go hunt for it..
