Civil servants will get a year-end Annual Variable Component (AVC) of 0.7 month

Re: Civil servants will get a year-end Annual Variable Component (AVC) of 0.7 month

what the article fails to mention as usual is the PB component, which bumps my friend's year-end to between 6 to 8 months, for the last several years...

i always love such, "my friend's year end, blah blah blah...".

1st cock-up, PB not paid end of year.

2nd cock-up, 6-8 months of bonus? you should reveal who yr friend is.

i love internet heroes.

HUAT.

another internet hero who can't read...

ok, since you're such a stickler, not "year-end", cumulative for the year.

did i say 6-8 months of PB? tsk tsk...

sapience: if your friend is gtting say 7mths of bonus in total...means his pb is 4 mmonths? Im not very sure about that especially if he gets that year after year..

for those who complain about the bonus cs getting, can join them by all means....im happy to continue to work for my company which pays better in good times....

the best bonus as a RSAF regular was in the early 90's, i took 3.5 mths before include 13 month.

Sometimes I cannot understand... Garmen keep reporting slow growth, possible recession, then private sector retrenchment but yet declare nice bonus figures for CS.

I have nothing against CS who probably deserves their bonus for being such well oiled machines for the best part of the year. And when u see housing and Coe at such crazy prices, I can't help but wonder if economy is really that bad or simply just lopsided.
