check see if the rubber hose bonnet ur afm to the throttle body got any leak too,a leak there will cause ur engine to die as well

maybe is time to change to a air mass sensor. I'm sure milk will have the parts and the unichip to go with it.

haha u are half right! i had his problem & i know is due to the simota he changed lately... a big nose for a old lung ! "boom.... not just leak , is back fire !"

It's also due to the wear and tear of the Air flow Sensor liao........... It's well know for the problematic it causes........
Tat's y... a lot of them, they got it mod into using Air Mass...........

+1 , mata kia rem i told u when i install my simota, i need change my old air flow sensor, all the old pipes.No choice, want more air prepare to spend for more wear & tears. There are more hidden problem but all wear & tear... if not put back the original air filter... which i did but eventually back to simota becos cos lost of power
