COE premiums higher except for small cars

Premiums for Certificates of Entitlement rose, except for small cars, at the end of the latest bidding exercise at 4pm on Wednesday.

The COE price for small cars closed at S$63,000, down from S$68,000 in the previous bidding exercise.

COE for big cars rose to S$88,500, compared with S$80,191.

For goods vehicles and buses, the premium also rose to S$57,809, from S$57,334.

For motorcycles, the COE premium was higher at S$1,852, compared with S$1,801 previously.

In the open category, the COE price increased to S$89,990 from S$87,999 in the previous round of bidding.
