Collecting my 335i in a few days time.

Hi everyone! Newbie here and collecting my first ever used 2011 bimmer 335i E92 in a few days time. Hope the sifus/gurus in here who are well experienced can show me the ropes and also I’m looking forward to make new friends.

Its my first ever bimmer. Previous cars has always been a jdm(STI, E10, GTR and E9). Miss Sepang badly and with the pandemic and the overseas movement control, decided to let go my E9 due to a very good offer and settle for a simple bimmer for a daily drive. Cheers everyone

Welcome and be prepare for oil leaks and valve cover gasket changes.

Just
belt and tensioner / Pcv / oil gasket when leak
Valve stem seal replace / timing chain guide / walnut blasting / coil replace / water pump
/ atf fluid and atf mechatronics rubber seals every 50000km / guibo

You will be good to go for another 10
Oil Change every 7000km

Vanos solenoids/ crank shaft sensors / Vanos sensors / oil pressure sensor / oil temp sensor
/ fuel pressure sensors / maf / 4 x O2 sensors / differential bushings / control arms

Hey thank you for the warm welcome too mate! Hahaha thank you for the heads up. Luckily i did a pre car full inspection and car was in a much awesome condition with zero leaks so far.

Most of what needs to be change has been done. Previous owner was taking care of it very well. Heard he was a BMW engineer working with BMW.
