Has anyone thought about converting your current E90 to the facelifted version? If so, what is the "agar-agar" costs involved?

Re: Conversion to facelifted E90

Thanks,

Spiderman

Re: Conversion to facelifted E90

Converting seems to be "future-proofing" our rides but still, $ is the main consideration.....

Re: Conversion to facelifted E90

Not to sure if PML has a promotion for this for existing E90 owner.... Might want to ask them about it...

Re: Conversion to facelifted E90

Hi there....

Do you think that the new rear lights can be retrofitted? The cut-outs are differently shaped - can we just change the bootlid? Bonnet, side mirrors, lights and front grille look straightforward. But not sure if worth the money to do so...

Re: Conversion to facelifted E90

if your are converting together with bi-xenon. get the entire E90 ///M3 front end + E92 Bi-Xenon = $12K-15K, coding, parts, spray paint and labour.

I will only trust MIKE @ SWC or PML.

Re: Conversion to facelifted E90

Going by the facelift pictures, it looks like in front theres the
front bumper, bonnet, kidney grille
rear would be the bootlid and light clusters
for the body alone.

Doesn't look to be cheap to do a proper conversion.

Re: Conversion to facelifted E90

the back light doesnt look like plug and play...the shape is different

That'll be really overkill! Might as well buy the new one....:)

I think the lights on the sides can be easily replaced but the entire boot + lights has to be replaced.

Agreed if the price is right of course......

Re: Conversion to facelifted E90

parts are not out yet..when its out... trust SWC to be able to do the conversion...

they can do preFL E46,60,63,65 to FL ones..no problem... and E90 is not a problem too

Re: Conversion to facelifted E90

Terry, u mean they've done pre FL e63 to FL? What parts? Bodykit only or even the head and taillights?

Re: Conversion to facelifted E90

why bored so much whether its preFL or FL. it is not gonna make the car go faster. someone say one. forgot who liow.

Re: Conversion to facelifted E90

LOL...agreed Acu. Sure, it's not going to make the car go faster, but it sure makes the heart skip another beat everytime you see the car. Dunno who say one...also forgot liao.

Re: Conversion to facelifted E90

Don't exactly agree with your statement Hitmee but different people different strokes I guess.

Better give SWC a call and see if they can do e64 FL head and taillights....yummmm

Re: Conversion to facelifted E90

Just did a semi FL recently on the LCI lamps.. bumper, bonnet, side finders remain the same, fit nicely too. Current XL onwers might wanna trade off your PFL xenons and get this kit. labour + parts ard 3k+

Next in mind will be FLing the bonnet and add a kerscher kit to complete the look.
