Dun wanna go out change at 60k only to realise that its part of the 60k servicing package with them.
Thats y looking to do early. My mileage is 30k.
By the way, most outside workshops quote between 450 to 700.
Wonder if its the different tranny oil they use that causing the gap.
It is not advisable to use what is not recommended ATF.horrible;1072566 said:After mkt oil better or bmw one better?
As I use Motul for engine oil im looking to use Motul ATF.
Motul engine oil really makes e engine damn smooth so im expecting e same for their ATF.
Most importantly, does our 8sp box requires any proprietary oil similar to vw/audi's dsg

This is a topic that is discuss for eons already. Since BMW said ATF does not require change, I doubt BMW Asia will reply to u.320i;1075291 said:PML SA told me to change ATF at 60k but not more than 70k. We all know that oil change is always good but why it should not be done after 70km, as advised by PML? MA lagi strange, must sign indemnity form to change ATF. Anyway, I spoke to BMW Asia and they explained that the gearbox is very sensitive to the ATF and as long as the original ATF is used, there is no harm changing the oil at any time but there is no recommendation to change.

I am clocking at 76K now, can't decide whether to do it or not.
If change, which workshop can you guys recommend?
Cheers!
