why the fcuk wud anyone chiong in the wet?

lateral is cornering load cornering gforces...like i say u wun even go near the limits of ps2 day to day cornering....when u hear ur tires screech u r at its max grip laterally..
Because it makes my passenger wet....
No la I talk cock only, wa ha ha ha.
I see the meaning of lateral....I may just stick to Csc3 if it's cheaper....

Thanks Read_Bean_Bun. CSC5 should be better than CSC3. I will check out the price diff.
May I know what it means by "rear specific tyre pattern for staggered wheels (2 centre ribs)".

This discussion makes me feel as if my F1 choice might not be a good one.

I will fit the CsC3 on my C63, driven by C3p0. Then I will go around Tanj Pagar to poke a moron e36 318is coupe. Sorry I mean a maroon 318is coupe.

Re: CSC3 vs PS2

i am using Michelin PS2 currently...next target is Pilot Super Sports PSS... :)
It is good for both dry & wet in terms of braking distance and grip plus it is "sticky" on the road. I highly recommend it if u a into performance more than comfort.

Re: CSC3 vs PS2

Am using Bridgestone GR90 19inch....noise level is really good. WHoever fart in my car also can hear eventhough the culprit tries some tactically silent approach.

But afterreading CSC5, my kar-cherng is itchying now. Is CSC5 fairly quiet. OEM on AMGs cant go wrong?

Re: CSC3 vs PS2

Running CSC3 now and I don't really like it. Seems like the noise level is a tad higher compared to PS2 and even Yoko AD08. Thinking of switching to P Zero for the next set. Any comments on P Zero? Many say it wears out faster

Re: CSC3 vs PS2

Can consider the new CSC-5 also, pricing level quite similar to the CSC3 depending on sizes

Easily resolved by me: used both concurrently now since I can't decide :)

Front : CSC3 235/35/ZR19;
Rear: PS2 265/30/ZR19

Considered P-Zero but doesn't come in the tyre size I want........I think its been around for some years (old technology ?)

Re: CSC3 vs PS2

no la p0 is new. about 2 yrs old.standard tyres for ferraris n lambos. not talking about p0 rossos...its p zeros. they r same weight as ps2...same cat. very very similar tires. just removed them from my gti after 28k km....got noisy after 20k...otherwise good as ps2....expensive tho.

Thanks Kitt.
I just checked out prices of PS2 vs CSC. If going by the price, PS2 is good tyres.
But exceed my budget.....sob.....

Agreed. I didn't think of csc5 when I started this thread, because a year ago the price was steeper than csc3, but I just check and they are now closer.
Ah Beng MTL!

So what's the conclusion after 4 pages...besides the rims are wrong offset?

Re: CSC3 vs PS2

Hi guys, gr8golf88 says Continental Extreme Contact is higher range than Csc3/5, is this true?

If using Tirerack's categorisation, yes.

Extreme Contact is rated Ultra High Performance, whereas CSC3/5 is Max Performance.

For your reference,

RE11 is rated Ultra High Performance/Extreme Performance
PS2 and PS3 are rated Max Performance
Eagle F1 is rated Max Performance.
P Zero Ross is rated Max Performance.
