Custom Predator Chromium (Red)

Hey there.

Just wanted to share what i just got installed. These are the latest Predator Chromium (which you can get from Barry), just that they're a custom red.

They're still not working perfectly though, remote on/off doesn't work (ballast weak/faulty) and 1 of the rings doesn't light up like 90% of the time. Replacements are on their way.

They all decided to be nice when i took this picture though, so it's all good.

Thanks to the installer, superb workmanship.

RaptureM3 that VRS Vented Race Hood simply looks awesome. Was eyeing it too.

They have quite a few options for it, which did you choose?

Actually I did speak to manufacturer regarding this. They said not much demand for them.... How many Z4 owners here would be interested in the Chromiums anyway?

Thanks! In person the hood looks really aggresive, better than i thought. I got the double-sided carbon fibre one with open vents. Now i'm just waiting for Vorsteiner to launch the rain covers cause i think we'll get quite a bit of rain these few months..

Can you actually on these DDEs in Singapore roads at night? No point if you're gonna get stopped by every TP who spot you a mile away..

i think he has a switch for it .. do even if he does get stop.. all his headlights will work... just not the DDEs.

Doubt so. If the wiring is similar to CCFLs, it will be switched on the moment you switch on the lights. We do not have problem with aftermarket CCFLs and xenons because it is quite difficult for TPs to differentiate between which model have them factory-fitted and which do not. But agree that red demon eyes is fierce - so much so that it distinguishes itself from the rest of the bimmers. Unless Alex claims factory-option......

Shaaz is right, there is a custom kill switch hidden somewhere. :whatthe: If the switch is turned off, all the lights will come on except the DDEs, otherwise, the DDEs will come on.
