Actually I did speak to manufacturer regarding this. They said not much demand for them.... How many Z4 owners here would be interested in the Chromiums anyway?

I would be number 1 on the list.
If they release the Chromiums into the market, there will be lots of people wanting it for sure. There are no demand from z4 owners because people just think that these light are impossible to fit on Z4, since the headlights seem to have no space to fit.

the red Predator Chromiums are nice indeed... but then, i still dont like the idea of modding stuff too illegal just for cosmetic purpose..

Yeah, i guess it isn't worth it. Got caught by the ROV yesterday for my exhuast and license plates. Had to go for inspection on the spot and failed. Fined SG$570 and everything's off the car now. :furious:

I don't think the DDEs are illegal unless turned on though. I don't use them on the roads anyway, just the remote function which i am still trying to get to work.

This is the second time in a month a fellow forumer is caught for exhaust mod (incidentally, the other is a M3 as well). Guess LTA is tight on the exhaust issue. Better be safe than sorry.

As for your number plate, need not say more. You are the only garang one to put on a Euro plate. Now you can give it to me.

In relevance to the topic, did LTA say anything on your DDEs?

The remote should be really easy to do! Ah Wee did it up real quick and hasn't caused any problems, except that a ballast died after about 6-7mths of usage. Would be interested in the kill switch though!!

Yah man, the car was brought in at 230pm, the people there inspecting said i was the 6th car they've inspected which was caught for illegal exhaust.

Regarding the euro plate right, the offence stated on the summon was that the colour was wrong (white front, white rear), however, nothing was stated about the euro plate. When i enquired, he said if i got yellow for the rear it should be fine..

Nope, the DDEs weren't turned on when the cop saw us. So it's all good..

In my view, juz not worth doing illegal visual and audio mods bro. TPs seems to be on the alert these days. U will probably end up spending more time in workshops modding and demodding. But I must say the red angels eys are devilish man. At times like this, I am sure u wish we are in some other less stringent ctys.
