Man found dead in car - inSing.com

A man was found dead yesterday morning in a car parked at Mt Faber.

The deceased, Lu Rong De (38, stationery wholesaler) was found in his car at 9.30am at a deserted carpark.

He is believed to have committed suicide by burning charcoal in his car.

A charcoal stove that was still warm, was found in his car.

It remains unclear why Lu would committed commit suicide as he appeared to be doing well in his life.

He stayed at a private apartment at Grange Road, near Orchard Road, and had gotten married on 1 January last year.

However, a check on Mr Lu's stationery business revealed that its registered shop space is now occupied by a boutique selling clothes.

The police have classified the case as an unnatural death and are investigating.
